We predicted “Oppenheimer” to be the winner of the Best Picture award. We think that “Killers of the Flower Moon” and “Poor Things” are also outstanding movies in 2023, and we think they still might have a chance of winning. “Oppenheimer” did a fabulous job of depicting the relationship between J. Robert Oppenheimer and its surroundings, the use of cinematography language and artistic choices are truly masterpieces.

Although Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse has been phenomenal during the year, it has achieved both high critic scores and success box office. However, the Boy and the Heron has a more abstruse story, and it has already won the Golden Globe Award which we find it more likely to be the winner for the Oscars.
